On 28th October, celebrate Black History Month with Tallawah at Counteracting Erasure: A Story Cloth Making Workshop.
Tallawah, a dynamic mixed-media artist, weaves together collage and craft to reimagine history, disrupt colonial narratives, and explore Black futures.
This hands-on workshop invites you to create your own story cloth using African and African diasporic textile traditions. Together, we’ll reflect on the power of craft as a tool for collective liberation, and connect past and present through shared making in a welcoming, community space.
