Jason Okundaye: Revolutionary Acts, Talk and Q&A

Join RCASU this Pride month as we welcome esteemed London-based writer Jason Okundaye. His seminal work, 'Revolutionary Acts: Love & Brotherhood in Black Gay Britain,' serves as a poignant exploration of Black and gay narratives of Britain, presenting a social history which captures these experiences in inimitable detail.

The event will take place on June 6th from 16:00 pm at Kensington. This is a free but ticketed event. Please secure your tickets through the RCASU website. The first ten students to register will receive a free copy of the book. 

Following Jason's talk and Q&A there will be a drinks reception with snacks and refreshments. This event, a celebration of Pride and a tribute to the enduring spirit of resilience and solidarity, is not to be missed.

This event will be moderated by MA Writing Student Gazelle Mba. Gazelle Mba is a Nigerian writer currently based in London. She received her BA from the University of Oxford, her Mphil from the University of Cambridge and is now studying at the Royal College of Art. Her work has been published widely including at the London Review of Books, The World of Interiors, The British Journal of Photography, and Frieze. She works as an editorial and creative consultant for brands and publications, as well as strategizes on creative projects across art, music, fashion, sport and entertainment with Long Term Parking. She is currently working on her first book.
